With this boss basically done I went ahead and tried out adding new voice lines. I’m pretty sure they’re not great but I’ll work with what I’ve got. I learned how to use the noise reduction on Audacity so the sounds are pretty clean. And it was fun recording the lines. I will still think about if I want to add more voice lines to other interactions in the game.
I made sure there are different lines if the player comes back from death. And I realized an important part of the building wasn’t attached right so I fixed that while testing the entire level’s flow.
Started working on the model of the new boss but it broke somehow and won’t import correctly into Unreal. So I’m thinking of redoing it which is okay because I wasn’t too sold on what I had made anyway. So it was a quick day’s work, but it is something. I will continue working on the new model to make sure it is in great and lovely shape.
