June Update

Unfortunately due to some payment issues I wasn’t able to buy the asset that I need to help me sort through the video settings. I will try to see if I can make my own one from scratch instead. In the mean time I made small changes updating the images on the HUD to match the new background image I made. And I added better material effects to some of the boss’ attacks. For the whip I improved the visualization by attaching an object to the point of impact rather than to the center of the object. It does show some distance because the trace is a capsule, but it isn’t too noticeable.

I also recorded footage of the third level in action. I made the flowers not cast shadows so it isn’t costly, plus that way I can make it brighter. I don’t want it too appear too dark and broody.

Before proceeding to the forth stage I will go back and improve what I already have. Working my way through the current things I have in the game from the UI to the mechanics. There is a lot I need to continue to refine and I think I am making good progress and I like the pace that I am at.
