I got a free plugin last month that cleaned up unused assets within the project so I let it take its time to remove all that. It was nearly 3 gig worth of files and it didn’t take too long to remove. Once it was finished it had to recompile a lot of shaders.
Then I got back to playing through the game. I made a few changes such as lowering the volume of some effects and making other objects more visually obvious. I used a different image for the loading screen.

After I finished the game and went on to New Game+ I realized I had the level state saved as part of the save file. That means that certain puzzles and level changes will be loaded in. Instead of restarting the level state, I figured I should keep it instead. It serves a narrative purpose that I hadn’t intended. And it saves time by having the player not have to do the puzzles they had already completed on a previous run. All that is different is that the player has access to all the powers this time around.
I updated the animation for the first boss’ time shadow because it was outdated compared to the rest of the bosses. It was interesting to visit each stage at the starting point but to see that the level had already been affected by the previous run. I altered some of the attacks of the third boss to make her slightly more difficult.

Next plan is to update some of the journal entries then I will continue playing through the game again and again.
