I updated the journal entries for all of the levels. It is primarily for the players who are interested in following the story. I packaged the game to see how it would run on its own because I’ve been running into long load times in the engine. It seems to run with no issues which is a relief.
The size isn’t that big of a difference compared to when I packaged it with 5 stages. Perhaps it is too big for a small game, but I am glad it isn’t extremely large.
I mostly made small changes today. In the main menu, I made the spotlight’s color shift to random colors. Sounds needed adjusting because their pitches were too random or they were too loud.

There wasn’t a setting in the game that could set the FPS to unlimited because I didn’t want to trouble myself with an option that wasn’t a number. To get around this I made sure that if the selection was “Unlimited” it would reflect on the box. In Unreal when the FPS is set to 0 that means the frames will be uncapped. I hadn’t implemented this previously because I didn’t think it was necessary. Now I feel that some people may want this option, so I included it just in case.
I have also commissioned music that will fill in the exploration portions of the game. After playing a few more playthroughs I am happy with the current state of the game.
