Glitches and cinematics

Went through the stages again and found a few more things that needed fixing. Of course, the main issues were with the third level. I did what I could to alleviate some of the bugs, but it’s mostly to do with collision. The best solution for my purposes was to give players a way to get out of sticky situations.

After that, I rearranged the order of the tutorial message in the first stage. The new order should make it easier to understand the mechanics of the game. It is still an information dump but hopefully with this new setup it flows much better. Also fixed some issues that were returning empty objects.

I am still worried about creating a better trailer or video for the game. I jumped into sequencer after I found out that I couldn’t see the window because I merely had to drag it up. The sequencer is a great way to record cinematics, but it is not that good at recording gameplay. At least from what I’ve learned so far. It is a powerful tool and I will continue to learn more about it. I have played around and recorded one thing. This may still be useful to showcase the levels themselves rather than just gameplay.

I will learn more about sequencer or find a better recording tool to prepare for a new trailer.
