More shots

I quickly added the final power for the game. It isn’t a crazy one like some of the previous abilities but it is significant and makes a difference in combat at least. I won’t be sharing what exactly the power does.

The hammer skill isn’t in a great place so I added the updated collision to it. It can hit multiple enemies instead of just one. I will be looking into other ways I can also improve it because the other powers do outshine it.

In the final level, I added some curious figures to one of the buildings. They serve a story purpose and make the place look slightly creepier. I learned how to create an animation in UMG so I could make scrolling credits. I wanted to acknowledge the people who have helped me and those from whom I have received art and music. It isn’t a long credits sequence, but it’s nice to have it move up the screen. The way it works is similar to sequencer, so it was a good time to quickly learn it. I can click certain variables on text, or whatever objects in UMG, to add a keyframe.

Once that was finished I went through the first five stages and created shots for each other to render. I wanted a nice perspective that captured the level in nearly the same way every time. I’m hoping I did it well. I may use these shots in the trailer.

I am running out of things to do. Playtesting can’t be done by just me so I will reach out to those I trust and see if I can get more help. Polish is the more important part of development at this point.
