I did two birds with one stone by playtesting the game and taking screenshots of what I thought would be appropriate images for the achievements. The engine has a mode where I can remove the filters, so it is just flat coloring. I used that for all the pictures and it turned out quite well. Using GIMP, I put some filters on the shots, and then I also had to make a greyscale version for when the achievement is still locked.

The process didn’t take too long and I encountered one bug that had to do with an object that was pending kill. I was playing in Story Mode and went through the game really fast. It is working fine and I didn’t spot anything that was game-breaking.

There are a total of 18 achievements in the game. I made some of them hidden, or at least one, to avoid spoilers. Then I doubled check the DefaultEngine text file to make sure the achievements perfectly match the names and order in which they were arranged on Steamworks.

I will do more normal runs of playtesting and then probably work on a new trailer for the game.
