Market Study

Did some short improvements on the fourth boss. Flipped the material on the shield so the larger part is the reflective material. It looks prettier and shinier. I also added improved sound effects to the boss for the fight.

In terms of marketing, I went on steamdb which has a lot of info on all the games on Steam. By studying games similar to mine I may be able to plan more on when to release my game and how much it should be. The mailing list is a slow roll because it’s hard to find the right people who would be interested. I may start looking at YouTubers or streamers who play indie games.

I feel like I’m running out of things to actually do with the actual game. And it’s making me worried because either I am blind to the glitches or I am actually finished. Do I take more time to add more features or leave it as is? The danger of putting more is that it could take longer than I would like to finish. I aimed to make a game that wasn’t too big and I did it. This stage of development makes me nervous.
