It kind of terrifies me when I find an issue with a mechanic especially one that I did a long time ago. I end up wondering what else I may have overlooked. There was a problem with how my blocking and the damage mitigation worked. Basically, it didn’t work at all and I never noticed until I was looking at my function. It was certainly messy because it was one of my earlier works.
I was able to fix it by dividing the damage during a block instead of subtracting it from a certain amount. Then I added more effects to the shield of the player when they are hit with it. Since I was making some of the powers more viable I revised the hammer. The hammer has a normal attack that doesn’t consume any Primelight. It’s like a melee but slower and deals more damage.

I then found another bug with the resetting of the dodge. It resets when the player stops sprinting but I also had it reset when the player landed from a jump. So it was resetting twice which isn’t a problem but it had an audio and visual effect that made the glitch obvious. I moved the delay so the issue no longer happens. A spear attack didn’t have trails so I added trails for that.

I will continue more testing and I may be emailing people if they are interesting in receiving keys for their personal review.
